simplerOS Privacy Policy

Effective date: July 15, 2026 · Last updated: July 15, 2026

This policy covers the simplerOS platform used by real estate agents and brokerage staff. If you're a homeowner or buyer using the consumer marketplace or the simpler-home app, see the Marketplace & Consumer Apps Privacy Policy instead.

This Privacy Policy explains how simplerOS, Inc. (“Company,” “we,” “us”) collects, uses, and shares personal information when you use the simplerOS platform and the site at simpleros.com (together, the “Platform”). It is incorporated into the Terms and Conditions.

1. Who we are and scope

The Company operates the Platform. This policy covers personal information the Company handles as a business. When you enter information about your clients and contacts, you decide what to collect and why, and you are responsible for that information under the laws that apply to you; the Company processes it to provide the Platform to you.

2. Information we collect

Account and sign-in

Your name, email, role, and login. If you use Sign in with Apple or Sign in with Google, we receive basic profile information from them to create and secure your account. Apple may provide a private relay email instead of your real address.

Mobile number and text-messaging consent

If you opt in to text-message notifications, we collect your mobile phone number and a record of your consent, including when and how you opted in.

Profile and business information

Details you add about yourself and your work.

Content and client data

Contacts, communications, transactions, notes, and other content you enter, which may include personal information about other people.

Connected social media accounts

If you connect a social media account, such as a Facebook Page, we collect the identifiers and access credentials needed to publish on your behalf and the engagement metrics of content published through the Platform, as described in Section 6.

MLS and property data

We access multiple listing service data through authorized feeds to power property search, reports, and production tracking. That data is sourced from your MLS and used in accordance with MLS rules and applicable regulations.

Usage, device, and log data

How you use the Platform, along with device, browser, and log information used to run and secure the service.

Support and communications

Messages you send us and records of support you receive.

Cookies and similar technologies

Used to keep you signed in, remember settings, and understand use of the Platform.

3. How we use information

We use information to provide, secure, and support the Platform; to power its features, including AI features; to prevent fraud and abuse; to communicate with you; to meet legal obligations; and to improve the Platform.

4. How we share information

  • Service providers and subprocessors that host, run, secure, and support the Platform, including infrastructure and artificial-intelligence providers, under contracts that limit their use of the information.
  • The brokerage or employer that authorizes your account, consistent with your role.
  • Professional advisors, and authorities or others when required by law or to protect rights, safety, and the Platform.
  • A successor in a merger, financing, or sale of assets, subject to this policy.

The Company does not sell personal information and does not share it for cross-context behavioral advertising.

5. Text messaging (SMS)

If you opt in to SMS notifications, we collect your mobile phone number and a record of your consent. We use this information solely to send you operational messages about your work on the Platform — such as transaction deadline reminders, support ticket updates, and replies from support staff — and to support two-way conversations you choose to have with support staff by text.

No mobile information will be shared with third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes. Text messaging originator opt-in data and consent are not shared with any third parties. Your number is used only to deliver the messages you signed up for, through our SMS delivery provider acting on our behalf.

You can opt out at any time by replying STOP to any message or by turning off SMS notifications in your profile settings. Reply HELP to any message for help. Message frequency varies; message and data rates may apply. See our Terms and Conditions for the full SMS program terms.

6. Connected social media accounts

If you connect a Facebook Page to the Platform, we collect and store: your Facebook user ID and name (to identify the connection); your Page ID, Page name, and Page access token (to publish posts on your behalf); and engagement metrics — such as likes, comments, and reach — for posts published through the Platform. We do not access your personal Facebook profile, friends list, private messages, or any data beyond what is needed to manage your Page. We publish to your Page only on your explicit action. You may disconnect a social account at any time in Settings, which revokes the stored access credentials. Your use of connected services is also governed by those services' own terms and privacy policies.

7. Artificial intelligence processing

Some features send your content to AI models, including third-party AI providers, to generate outputs for you. AI Output may be inaccurate and should be reviewed before use, as described in the Terms.

8. Data retention

We keep personal information for as long as needed to provide the Platform and to meet legal, tax, and record-keeping obligations, and then delete or de-identify it. You may request deletion as described below.

9. Security

We use reasonable administrative, technical, and physical measures to protect personal information. No method of storage or transmission is perfectly secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.

10. Your rights and choices

Depending on where you live, you may have the right to access, correct, delete, or receive a copy of your personal information, and to opt out of certain processing. State laws that may apply include the Kentucky Consumer Data Protection Act, which took effect January 1, 2026, the California Consumer Privacy Act, and similar laws in other states. To exercise a right, contact us at privacy@simpleros.com or use the account and data deletion request at simpleros.com/delete-account. We respond within the time the law requires, generally within forty-five days, and we will not deny you service for exercising a right. If you ask us to delete information about your clients, you are responsible for any notice your own obligations require.

11. Cookies and tracking choices

You can control cookies through your browser settings. Some features may not work without cookies that keep you signed in.

12. Third-party sign-in and services

Sign in with Apple and Sign in with Google are governed by Apple's and Google's privacy practices. We receive only the sign-in information needed to create and secure your account.

13. Children

The Platform is for business use by adults and is not directed to children under 18, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children.

14. Changes to this policy

We may update this policy and will post the new effective date. Material changes will be communicated as required.
